故事发生在1895年的巴黎，皮埃尔（尼尔斯·施内德 Niels Schneider 饰）是一个放浪形骸的诗人，同时也是臭名昭著的花花公子。亨利（本杰明·拉维赫尼 Benjamin Lavernhe 饰）是皮埃尔的好友，两人共同在导师海德利亚（阿蜜拉·卡萨 Amira Casar 饰）门下学习诗歌，海德利亚有一个非常可爱的女儿玛利亚（诺米·梅兰特 Noémie Merlant 饰），皮埃尔和亨利疯狂的爱上了这个女人。
